Develer embarked on their musical journey in 2019 in Istanbul. The group initially consisted of Niko Doğu on melodic percussion, Naci Oğuz on electric and fretless guitars, and Muaz Ceyhan on tanbur and çaglama. However, throughout their journey, a series of talented musicians joined their ranks. Names like Esmani Kılıç (Percussion), Mert Can Dursun (Piano), Kerem Duru (Drums), Salih Eren Kurç (Bass guitar), and Cenk Bonfil (Piano) came together to form the band in its current lineup.

 

During the course of their journey, Develer's paths crossed with notable artists such as Mehmet Ali Şimayli, Cenk Esen, Anıl Deniz, and Yiğit Can Öztop during the creation of their "Sanatorium EP" album. The contributions of these musicians played a significant role in shaping Develer's current sound.

 

With strong roots deeply embedded in the soil where they grew, Develer has never hesitated to extend their branches beyond the horizon in terms of instrumentation, genre, and emotional depth.

 

Starting from February 2022, Develer, through various live performances at different stages and festivals, is preparing to reap the harvest of the seeds they sowed. Most of these songs emerged during pre-concert rehearsals or live improvisations, taking their final form on stage. During the album process, these tracks that have matured over time showcase the new musical tapestry that Develer has woven throughout their journey.
